I have downloaded couple of video guides you have produced.
I can play them in Ubuntu and windows but what I noticed is on Ubuntu the voice is missing and if I play them in windows the volume is very low even if I am playing with full volume.
I have played couple of other screen casts from rails casts and others, their is no such problem on both Ubuntu and Windows.
Would you please compare your mov encoding with rail cast to fix the issue.
The recent episode: http://bparanj.blogspot.com/2007/12/classeval-and-instanceeval-in-ruby.html has good volume.
When I played the old screencasts on my Mac. The volume was fine. So I might update them if I have time. Sorry about that, from now on you will not have the volume problem.
